About Us

We are a small home kennel located in the peaceful countryside of Pusula, Western Uusimaa.

Our family currently consists of me, Anna-Kaisa, my husband Lauri, and our male Finnish Lapphund, Kaamos, who joined us at the end of 2022. We dream of welcoming another male dog to our family. We prefer to keep our pack small, so two male dogs are the perfect number for us.

Our kennel name is inspired by our dog Kaamos, and our logo features three generations: Kaamos' paternal grandfather, father, and Kaamos himself. The logo showcases all three allowed ear types of Finnish Lapphunds.

In our home, dogs are considered family members. They join us on trips and are an integral part of our daily lives. We spend a lot of time outdoors and travel to Lapland at least twice a year, a place that has captured all our hearts—both human and canine.

I have a background as a practical nurse and have worked with elderly people for over 10 years. Currently, I'm on study leave and aim to graduate as a geronomist in spring 2025. My husband Lauri works in the construction industry as an occupational safety expert.

I completed the Finnish Kennel Club's breeder course in late winter 2024 and was granted my kennel name in October 2024. I have also signed the breeder commitment. I am a member of the Finnish Kennel Club and the Lappalaiskoirat Association. Additionally, I serve as one of the social media coordinators for the Lappalaiskoirat Association.

My goal is to breed healthy, breed-typical, and good-natured dogs who become beloved family members. My breeding activities will be small-scale, with carefully planned combinations. I aim to use extensively health-tested dogs in my breeding program, including comprehensive skeletal imaging, eye examinations, gonioscopy if necessary, and genetic testing when needed.
