Kaamos is a very confident, brave, and joyful young gentleman. However, when evening falls, his old soul emerges, and bedtime arrives at the same time every night. Kaamos loves spending time with his humans and is a quick learner.
With other dogs and people, Kaamos adores playing and could spend endless hours with his toys! Wrestling and running games are his favorite activities with other dogs. Kaamos has a strong herding instinct—he wants to be involved in everything at home and keeps track of where everyone is, even if he eventually retreats to another room.
Kaamos is not prone to barking and uses his voice primarily while guarding the yard or expressing his desires. He has a strong prey drive, so he is only let off-leash in carefully chosen, familiar areas, and he always wears a GPS tracker during outdoor activities.
With Kaamos, we've attended a nosework course focused on finding mushrooms, tried blood tracking and rally obedience, participated in dog shows, and now we train herding weekly.
One of Kaamos's favorite aunties describes him with the words: "A lively whirlwind full of zest for life, with energy to spare for everyone. A teenage dog with a head full of youthful enthusiasm and a heart overflowing with love for his own."
